The close proximity of lava lakes meant that Hydrisikk sightings were a common occurrence for those who lived in Hysh'hisal cities. For the naga who worship these gargantuan serpents[^1], it made this place extremely spiritual. Many naga made pilgrimages to this land, and the (relatively) neutral Hysh'hisal people welcomed them to visit.
